VFX BREAKDOWN
Scanning the Shoe for Reference and Rebuilding a 3D Model
We first used 3D scanning technology to accurately capture the details of the shoe on set, obtaining detailed shape and texture data. This data served as a reference, allowing us to precisely reconstruct a 3D model of the shoe, ensuring high fidelity to the real object.
Capturing On-Set Environment HDRI for Accurate Lighting and Shadow Matching
We utilized high dynamic range imaging (HDRI) technology to capture the on-set environment. This HDRI data was used for lighting and shadow matching, ensuring that the 3D elements integrated in post-production blend naturally with the on-set footage, achieving realistic lighting effects.
Modeling On-Set Buildings and Creating an Animation of the Buildings Inflating Like Balloons
We meticulously modeled the on-set buildings to create accurate 3D models. Using 3D software, we then created an animation of the buildings inflating like balloons. This creative effect enhanced the visual impact of the film, delivering a striking visual experience.
